Troubleshooting

Devices, billing, and how to reach us.

Thinkverse runs in the browser — there's nothing to install and no app store. A desktop computer, laptop, or iPad all work well; the whiteboard is built for touch and pencil as much as for a mouse.

Three practical notes:

  • An internet connection is required. There's no offline mode — work happens live with the tutor.
  • The tutor talks. If your child can't hear it on an iPad or in Safari, that's the browser starting videos muted — tapping the tutor's video unmutes it.
  • The tutor also listens. Voice input needs microphone permission; if it was declined, the address bar's lock icon is where to re-allow it.

If a page misbehaves, the fastest fix is usually a different browser — Chrome and Safari get the most testing.

Billing is self-serve. From your parent account, open Billing in the sidebar, then click Manage subscription. That opens a secure billing portal where you can:

  • Cancel the subscription
  • Change the payment method
  • See invoices and receipts

Cancelling during the 7-day free trial means you pay nothing.

Seats and learners

Your plan has one seat per learner. The Billing page shows Seats used at a glance, and the Manage seats control (the gear next to your children's names) is where you add a learner — which also emails them their welcome link — or remove one.

Removing a learner frees the seat but doesn't delete their account, so you can re-add them later without losing history. If you ever have more children than seats, the accounts lock until you either add seats or remove a learner — that's the screen telling you the plan doesn't cover everyone.

Anything else

For a refund or a billing question the portal doesn't cover, email support@thinkverse.co from the parent account's email address — that lets us find you without asking for anything sensitive.

  • Your child uses Thinkverse at school — start with their teacher. They can see the class roster and the assigned sessions, which is where most problems turn out to live.
  • Anything else — email support@thinkverse.co.
